Considering the COVID-19 outbreak, we were unable to participate in our usual initiatives during Ramadan, such as the Ramadan Fridge. However, we remain determined to help, especially given the current circumstances, so we made donations to the following worthwhile causes during this special time of the year.

10 million meals campaign

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launched the ’10 million meals’ campaign, the nation’s biggest food distribution drive, to provide food support for those affected by the Covid-19 outbreak. 

We donated funds to purchase a number of meals to facilitate food distribution to disadvantaged families and individuals from different nationalities living across the UAE.

Dubai Cares 
Dubai Cares help provide students who are not equipped with the necessary ICT devices and tools to join their peers in distance learning from the safety of their home.

We donated funds to Dubai Cares and the UAE Ministry of Education towards the support of 40,000 UAE students through Education Uninterrupted, a nationwide fundraising campaign that tackles the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on the education of children and youth in the UAE.
