On the 15th March 2019 employees from our Cockett Marine Oil Brazil office particiated in a trash collection incentive in Guanabara Bay as part of our global Cockett Cares initiative announced by our CEO, Cem Saral for Cockett’s 40th Anniversary.
 
“Cockett Cares was a great event in Guanabara Bay, we used the day to try to do something better for the world... and our initiative was to collect the garbage from the Bay``- said an employee with much enthusiasm. Guanabara Bay is where our supplies happen, and is considered a very polluted area. 
 
The Cockett Brazil team used a small boat to collect all the litter, they mostly they found cans of soda and plastic bottles in the water which is bad for nature and sea life. It was a beautiful action for the planet and our smiles meant that Cockett Cares Brazil was a success!
